The Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect is the most senior new certification role in Microsoft's 2026 AI portfolio — AB-100 defines the architect-level competency for designing end-to-end agentic AI solutions across the Microsoft cloud. This role bridges the gap between business strategy and technical delivery: defining how autonomous AI agents integrate with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure AI and the broader Microsoft ecosystem to transform enterprise business processes. Role & Responsibilities: • Define agentic AI solution architectures for enterprise clients: identifying automation opportunities, designing agent boundaries and orchestration patterns, selecting appropriate Microsoft AI capabilities and planning phased implementation roadmaps • Lead solution design workshops: helping business stakeholders understand agentic AI capabilities, map their processes to agent workflows and define success criteria for autonomous AI deployments • Architect multi-layer AI solutions: Copilot Studio agents at the business process layer, Azure AI Foundry for custom model capabilities, Power Platform for integration and Dynamics 365 as the system of record • Design enterprise governance frameworks for agentic AI: defining agent permissions, action boundaries, audit requirements, human escalation patterns and compliance controls • Produce architecture documentation: solution design documents, agent capability matrices, integration architecture diagrams and responsible AI assessments • Lead pre-sales technical activities: solution demonstrations, architecture proposals, effort estimation and risk assessment for agentic AI programmes • Mentor AI Agent Builders and Intelligent Application Builders: providing technical direction, architecture reviews and quality assurance on delivery teams • Contribute to Microsoft partner practice development: building reusable agent patterns, reference architectures and methodology assets Required Skills & Experience: • 8+ years of Microsoft technology architecture experience with at least 2 years focused on AI and agentic systems • Deep knowledge across Microsoft's AI and automation stack: Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft 365 • AB-100 (Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect) — required or actively in beta; candidates with existing Power Platform architecture certifications are strongly positioned • Experience designing and delivering Dynamics 365 solutions with AI integration: Copilot features in D365 Sales, Customer Service, Field Service and Contact Center • Strong consulting and client-facing skills: you lead architecture workshops, present to executive stakeholders and write proposals that win • Understanding of enterprise integration patterns: API management, event-driven architecture and data governance in Microsoft environments What We Offer: • Senior architecture role with Microsoft partner programme benefits • Salary £100,000–£130,000 plus consulting bonuses • Remote-first with client engagement travel • Early access to AB-100 materials and Microsoft AI partner resources The Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect defines what enterprise AI transformation looks like on the Microsoft platform.
