The Claude Integration Specialist is an emerging specialist role for engineers who have deep expertise integrating Anthropic's Claude models into enterprise products and workflows — going beyond simple API calls to build sophisticated, production-grade Claude integrations including agentic workflows, tool use systems, extended thinking applications and Claude Code deployments that meaningfully change how engineering teams work. Role & Responsibilities: • Design and build Claude integrations across enterprise applications: customer-facing AI features, internal knowledge assistants, document processing pipelines and code generation workflows using the Anthropic API • Implement Claude tool use and function calling: designing tool schemas, building reliable tool execution pipelines and handling the full agentic loop in production environments • Deploy and govern Claude Code in enterprise engineering environments: configuring MCP servers, managing permissions, integrating with internal knowledge bases and measuring productivity impact • Build Claude-powered agentic workflows: multi-step autonomous processes that use Claude to plan, execute and verify complex tasks with appropriate human oversight gates • Use Claude's extended thinking capabilities for complex reasoning tasks: identifying use cases where deeper reasoning delivers measurably better outcomes and designing prompts that leverage this effectively • Build evaluation frameworks for Claude integrations: test suites, automated quality checks, regression detection and performance benchmarking across model versions • Implement responsible AI controls for Claude deployments: prompt injection defence, output validation, PII handling, content filtering and audit logging • Stay current with Anthropic model releases and capability updates — evaluating new Claude versions, new API features and the Claude ecosystem (MCP servers, computer use, etc.) Required Skills & Experience: • 3+ years of software engineering experience with at least 1 year building production Claude or LLM integrations • Deep Anthropic API expertise: Messages API, tool use, streaming, extended thinking, batch processing and the Claude model family differences • Claude Code experience: daily usage in a professional engineering context, MCP server configuration, permission management • Strong Python skills for API integration, evaluation pipelines and agentic workflow orchestration • Understanding of prompt engineering specifically for Claude: constitutional AI implications, system prompt design, context management and multi-turn conversation architecture • Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks: measuring Claude output quality, building ground truth datasets and detecting regressions • Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol): building or consuming MCP servers, understanding the ecosystem What We Offer: • Specialist role at the frontier of Claude and agentic AI deployment • Salary $90,000–$120,000 based on experience and location • Remote-first with worldwide applicants welcome • Direct access to Anthropic API previews and enterprise support The Claude Integration Specialist builds the systems that make Claude genuinely useful in enterprise contexts — not demos, but production integrations that engineers and business users depend on every day.
