A large enterprise with a technology workforce of 3,000+ engineers in India is hiring a Corporate Technical Trainer to design and deliver Data Engineering and AI upskilling programmes. You will be embedded in the Learning & Development team, working with business units and engineering leadership to close skills gaps in cloud data platforms, AI tools and modern engineering practices. Role & Responsibilities: • Design and deliver instructor-led training programmes covering: Azure data engineering, Databricks, Power BI, Python for data, and AI/ML fundamentals • Assess workforce skills gaps through surveys, manager interviews and skills matrices; design targeted learning pathways • Develop internal training content: slide decks, lab exercises, case studies and assessment frameworks tailored to company-specific platforms and tools • Deliver live virtual and classroom training sessions to cohorts of 15–30 engineers across multiple business units • Manage the learning management system (LMS): course catalogues, enrolment workflows, completion tracking and certification records • Coordinate external training vendors and Microsoft/Databricks authorised programmes for specialist certification preparation • Measure training effectiveness: pre/post assessments, 30-day application surveys and skills improvement tracking • Report training programme metrics to the Head of L&D and technology leadership Required Skills & Experience: • 5+ years combined experience in data engineering and technical training or L&D roles • Hands-on expertise in Azure data services, Databricks and Power BI — you can demonstrate and explain what you have built • Experience designing and delivering technical training programmes, not just attending or facilitating them • Familiarity with instructional design methodologies: ADDIE, Kirkpatrick evaluation model • LMS administration experience (Cornerstone, SAP SuccessFactors, Degreed or equivalent) • Microsoft or Databricks certifications are a strong advantage for credibility with engineering audiences • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Hindi proficiency is an advantage What We Offer: • Hybrid role — Gurugram office 3 days per week with flexible remote arrangement • Salary ₹25–35L based on experience • Direct influence on the skills development of a 3,000-strong engineering workforce • Budget for external certifications, conference attendance and content development tools For a data engineer or technical consultant who has discovered a passion for teaching and wants to build a career at the intersection of technology expertise and enterprise learning.
