A Databricks Authorised Training Partner delivering certified learning programmes across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific is hiring experienced Databricks Certified Trainers for ongoing contract engagements. You will deliver official Databricks curriculum to corporate engineering teams, enabling their transition to the Lakehouse architecture and AI-first data platforms. Role & Responsibilities: • Deliver official Databricks training courses including: Apache Spark Programming, Data Engineering with Databricks, ML Engineering with Databricks, and Delta Lake Fundamentals • Train audiences ranging from junior data engineers to senior platform architects — adapting technical depth and pacing accordingly • Set up and manage Databricks training workspaces and lab environments prior to each session • Provide post-training Q&A support and optional consultancy hours for client teams • Stay current with Databricks platform releases, Unity Catalog, Databricks Apps and Mosaic AI developments • Contribute to course material updates as Databricks certifications and curricula evolve • Occasionally deliver pre-sales technical workshops and proof-of-concept enablement sessions Required Skills & Experience: • Databricks Certified — at least one of: Data Engineer Associate/Professional or Machine Learning Professional • 4+ years hands-on Databricks experience in a production environment: pipelines, notebooks, Workflows, MLflow • Strong Apache Spark knowledge: DataFrames, Spark SQL, Structured Streaming • Deep Delta Lake expertise: ACID transactions, time travel, Z-ordering, Delta Live Tables • Prior experience delivering technical training or instructor-led workshops to engineering audiences • Excellent English communication and presentation skills • Unity Catalog, Databricks Apps or Mosaic AI experience is a strong advantage What We Offer: • Fully remote delivery (occasional onsite for strategic accounts — travel covered) • Day rate $1,000–$1,500 USD depending on course type and experience • Flexible engagement model — project-based, retainer or preferred supplier arrangement • Access to Databricks authorised courseware, lab environments and partner resources This is one of the most sought-after technical training roles in the market as enterprises globally accelerate their Databricks adoption.
