A UAE super-app platform serving millions of consumers across transport, payments, food delivery and retail is hiring a Senior iOS / Android Engineer to work on their enterprise-grade mobile platform. You will build features used by millions of daily active users while maintaining the performance and reliability standards that a super-app demands. Role & Responsibilities: • Build and maintain high-performance iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and Android (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose) features for the consumer super-app • Design and implement modular mobile architecture patterns: MVVM, Clean Architecture and feature-flagged releases • Integrate Azure services into mobile: Azure Notification Hubs for push, Azure AD B2C for authentication and Azure Application Insights for crash reporting • Implement payment SDK integrations, biometric authentication and NFC features for the payments vertical • Build real-time features using WebSocket connections and background sync patterns • Write unit and UI tests using XCTest and Espresso, maintaining 80%+ test coverage on core flows • Conduct code reviews and contribute to mobile engineering standards across iOS and Android codebases • Work with product, design and backend teams in two-week sprints on a fully agile delivery model Required Skills & Experience: • 5+ years of iOS or Android engineering experience, with cross-platform delivery preferred • Strong Swift skills including SwiftUI, Combine and async/await; Kotlin and Jetpack Compose on Android • Experience with mobile architecture: MVVM, Clean Architecture, dependency injection • Azure mobile SDK experience: Push Notifications, App Center, Authentication • Familiarity with payment SDKs, deep link handling and app store release management • Performance profiling experience: Instruments on iOS, Android Profiler on Android • Super-app, ride-hailing, payments or eCommerce mobile experience is a strong advantage What We Offer: • Hybrid role in Dubai — 3 days office, 2 days remote • Tax-free salary AED 25,000–35,000 per month plus health insurance • Work on a platform with millions of daily users across the UAE and broader region • Access to cutting-edge mobile features: NFC payments, AR navigation, AI recommendations For a mobile engineer who wants scale, variety of features and the challenge of building for millions of users in one of the world's most dynamic mobile-first markets.
