A US-based Microsoft Authorised Training Organisation serving Fortune 500 enterprise clients is hiring a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) to deliver Azure Data Engineer training. With Microsoft's transition from DP-203 to the new DP-700 certification, demand for trainers who can deliver both courses is at a premium. Role & Responsibilities: • Deliver instructor-led training for DP-203 (Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure) and DP-700 (Implementing Data Engineering Solutions Using Microsoft Fabric) • Train enterprise data engineering teams on Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, ADLS Gen2 and Microsoft Fabric • Guide students through complex lab environments covering pipeline orchestration, Spark notebooks, Delta Lake and Fabric Lakehouse • Advise clients on migration pathways from Synapse to Microsoft Fabric as part of post-training consultancy • Stay current with DP-700 exam updates and Fabric platform releases to keep course content accurate • Contribute to courseware review and lab environment updates alongside the curriculum team • Deliver pre-sales technical workshops and cloud adoption readiness assessments for enterprise accounts Required Skills & Experience: • Active Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) status — mandatory • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) — required • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700) — required or in progress • Strong hands-on experience with Azure data services: ADF, Databricks, Synapse, ADLS Gen2 • Microsoft Fabric experience: Lakehouse, Pipelines, Spark Notebooks, Dataflows Gen2 • Prior experience delivering DP-203 or Azure data engineering training to corporate audiences • Databricks certification (Data Engineer Associate or Professional) is a strong advantage What We Offer: • Fully remote delivery on US hours (EST/PST); all time zones considered • Day rate $800–$1,200 USD based on experience and course type • Long-term preferred supplier agreement with consistent booking pipeline • Access to Microsoft courseware, Azure lab subscriptions and DP-700 preview materials This is a high-value contract for an MCT who has lived the transition from legacy Azure data engineering to the Fabric era — and can teach it with authority from real project experience.
