A specialist UK cybersecurity training firm delivering Microsoft security courses to financial services, government and enterprise clients is hiring a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) for AZ-500 (Azure Security Engineer Associate) and SC-200 (Microsoft Security Operations Analyst). Security training is the fastest-growing segment of the Microsoft learning portfolio and this role reflects that demand. Role & Responsibilities: • Deliver instructor-led AZ-500 training: identity security, platform protection, security operations and data/application security on Azure • Deliver SC-200 training: threat mitigation using Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft 365 Defender • Set up and manage lab environments covering Microsoft Sentinel workspace configuration, Defender deployments and Azure security policy labs • Train diverse audiences: cloud engineers learning security, SOC analysts moving to Microsoft tools, and security architects evaluating Azure security posture • Provide post-training exam preparation guidance and recommended hands-on lab resources • Advise clients on Microsoft security product adoption: Sentinel SIEM/SOAR deployment, Defender for Cloud secure score improvement • Stay current with rapidly evolving Microsoft Defender and Sentinel product updates and reflect these in training delivery • Occasionally deliver SC-900 (Security Fundamentals), SC-100 (Cybersecurity Architect) or SC-300 (Identity and Access) depending on competency Required Skills & Experience: • Active Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) status — mandatory • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) — required • Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200) — required or actively pursuing • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel: analytics rules, KQL, SOAR playbooks and workbooks • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Defender suite: Defender for Cloud, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity • Prior experience delivering AZ-500 or security-focused technical training to corporate audiences • SC-100 (Cybersecurity Architect) or AZ-305 (Solutions Architect) is a strong advantage What We Offer: • Fully remote virtual delivery with occasional onsite client sessions in the UK (travel covered) • Day rate £550–£750 based on experience and course type • High-demand specialist niche — security training bookings consistently outstrip trainer supply • Access to Microsoft security partner resources, Sentinel lab tenants and SC-200 courseware updates An ideal role for an MCT with real-world Azure security operations experience who wants to transfer that expertise into a high-value training practice in one of the most in-demand areas of the Microsoft ecosystem.
