A US technology company with a large Salesforce investment is hiring a Salesforce Data Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of their Customer Data Platform (CDP) strategy. You will unify customer data across marketing, sales and service clouds, enabling AI-driven personalisation and predictive analytics at scale. Role & Responsibilities: • Architect and deliver Salesforce Data Cloud implementations: data ingestion, identity resolution, segmentation and activation • Design data model mappings from source systems (ERP, eCommerce, CRM) into Data Cloud's canonical data model • Build real-time data streams and batch ingestion pipelines using Data Cloud connectors and MuleSoft APIs • Implement AI-powered segmentation using Einstein features within Data Cloud • Define governance frameworks for data sharing between Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud • Lead technical discovery workshops with business and marketing stakeholders • Evaluate and implement Data Cloud integrations with external platforms (AWS S3, Snowflake, CDP partners) • Mentor Salesforce developers and administrators on Data Cloud best practices Required Skills & Experience: • 6+ years of Salesforce architecture experience across core clouds • Hands-on Data Cloud (CDP) implementation experience — at least 2 production go-lives • Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant or Salesforce Certified Application Architect — required • Experience with MuleSoft for data integration or equivalent enterprise integration platform • Strong understanding of identity resolution, data harmonisation and customer 360 concepts • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts within the Salesforce ecosystem (Einstein, Agentforce) • Experience with Snowflake or BigQuery data sharing partnerships is advantageous What We Offer: • Fully remote role on US hours (EST preferred) • Salary $140,000–$170,000 plus performance bonus • Complex, high-visibility programme with executive sponsorship • Salesforce certification support and conference attendance budget For a Salesforce architect ready to lead a strategic CDP programme that touches every customer-facing system in a large enterprise.
