Account data: Your name and email address when you create an account.

CV and profile data: The LinkedIn PDF or Word CV you upload. Any form data or rough notes you provide for CV creation. These are processed to deliver the service.

Extended profile data: Current company, current salary, expected salary, notice period, nationality, visa status, LinkedIn URL, and AI experience level — provided when you complete your profile.

Fellowship data: If you enrol in the Instrovate AI Fellowship — your expression of interest, selected project brief, milestone submissions (including uploaded files, written writeups, and project links), AI assessment results, and certificate details.

Job application data: Records of job applications submitted through CVFine, including the role applied for, the employer, and the date of application.

AI assessment data: Your AI Readiness Score, skill gap assessment results, and interview question history.

Email subscription status: Whether you have subscribed to weekly personalised career emails and your subscription preferences.

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, run history, and session information collected to understand how the product is used and improve it.

Payment data: Payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details or any payment credentials.

To issue and publicly verify fellowship certificates. To respond to support queries. To understand usage patterns and improve the platform. To operate, maintain, and extend CVFine services.

To match your profile to relevant job listings on the CVFine platform. To generate personalised weekly career emails including AI interview questions and AI tool recommendations, based on your role and industry. To display your profile to approved recruiters on the CVFine platform where you have enabled recruiter visibility.

We do not use your CV content to train AI models for third-party commercial purposes. We do not use your data to serve you advertising.

CV files and uploaded documents are retained for a period sufficient to deliver the service and support your dashboard history, after which they are periodically removed. We do not retain your CV content indefinitely.

CVs uploaded to CVFine are stored securely on Microsoft Azure Blob Storage. You may request deletion of your CV and all associated profile data at any time by contacting support@instrovate.com. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

Fellowship submission files are retained for the duration of your programme and for a reasonable period thereafter to support certificate verification.

Fellowship certificates and verification data are retained to maintain the integrity of issued credentials. This data may be retained even if you request account deletion.

We share data with trusted third-party service providers and partners where necessary to operate, deliver, improve, or extend the CVFine platform. Current key providers include:

Stripe: Payment processing.

LinkedIn: OAuth authentication provider. LinkedIn receives only the authentication request and returns your name and email address to CVFine. No CV or profile data is shared with LinkedIn.

Microsoft Azure: File and data storage infrastructure.

Databricks: AI processing infrastructure. CV content is processed to generate outputs.

Anthropic (Claude): AI language model used for CV analysis, career intelligence, and fellowship assessment.

PostHog: Product analytics — page views, feature usage, session data. Does not receive your CV content.

Resend: Email delivery for transactional notifications, fellowship communications, and weekly personalised career emails. Weekly emails are generated using AI and contain role and industry-specific content derived from your profile.

This list may change as the platform evolves. We may engage additional service providers or partners from time to time. We do not sell your personal data to third parties for their own unrelated advertising or marketing purposes.

CVFine is operated from Dubai, UAE. Your data may be processed and stored on infrastructure in the United States and other regions. By using CVFine you consent to this international transfer.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you acknowledge that data may be transferred to countries with different data protection standards. We take reasonable steps to ensure data is handled securely regardless of location.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@instrovate.com. We will respond as promptly as reasonably possible.

If you are in the UK or EEA, you may have additional rights under GDPR or UK GDPR including data portability and the right to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Approved recruiters on the CVFine platform can view your profile where you have enabled recruiter visibility. Recruiter-visible information includes your name, role, industry, location, years of experience, AI tools, availability, work preference, and AI Readiness Score.

Your CV file and salary information are not visible to recruiters on the CVFine platform.

You can disable recruiter visibility at any time from your profile settings. Disabling recruiter visibility hides your profile from recruiter search on CVFine.

You have the right to request deletion of your CVFine account and all associated data, including your profile, uploaded CV, fellowship progress records, and job application history.

To request deletion, email support@instrovate.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". All data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.

Note: fellowship certificates that have already been issued and publicly verified cannot be deleted, as they form part of the verified credential record. The certificate verification page will remain accessible after account deletion.

CVFine uses essential cookies for login session management. These are required for the service to function.

We also use PostHog analytics to understand product usage. These are not advertising cookies and do not track you across other websites.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party retargeting pixels.

We may update this policy at any time. The current version is always available at cvfine.com/privacy. Continued use of CVFine constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
